"Play With Me" Infant Classes

Our accompaniment "Play With Me" Infant Classes are specifically tailored to children in one of two approximate age groups: Movers and Shakers (4-8 month old children who are not yet fully mobile) and Walkers and Rollers (6-16 month old children who are just starting to become more mobile)!  These classes generally run for approximately 45 minutes in a 10 week session.

*Please Note- age groups above are flexible!  Placement into a group is dependent on both age and developmental ability.

"Play With Me" is designed as an adult/child participation program.  It is a special time for you (or any special adult in your child's life) and your child to further develop a relationship as well as cultivate relationships with other children through movement, music, storytelling and age-appropriate tumbling.

~ We begin each class with the same format so that the children can anticipate what is coming next. This facilitates development of self-esteem through consistency and trust. Repetition at this age is extremely important for a child’s development, and is consistent with a nursery school setting.
~ Verbal attendance is taken at the beginning of every class which aides in name recognition and self-concept

~ We use instruments to teach the concepts of rhythmic motion, body parts, and “directionals” (up, down, side, behind, etc).
~ Music is used to enhance learning and memory.
~ Clockwise movement enhances reading readiness skills.
~ Bubbles may be used to help advance hand/eye coordination.
~ A parachute is used for group cooperation, color awareness, hand/eye coordination, and reinforcement of “directionals”.
~ Tumbling teaches spatial and body awareness through forward, backward, and lateral and bilateral movements
~ Concepts such as “over”, “under”, and “through” as well as movements such as “tip toe”, “galloping” and “jumping” are reinforced throughout the program to develop a solid gross motor foundation that can be used as a building block for the future.

Families will leave each class with a variety of fun activities to engage their little ones at home while supporting whole-child development across all domains of learning!

“Toddler Tumble” and "Toddler Gymnasts"

Our accompaniment "Toddler Tumble" program and drop-off "Toddler Gymnasts" program are specifically tailored to children ages 14 – 36 months!  These classes generally run for approximately 60 minutes in a 10 week session.

*Please Note- age groups are flexible!  Placement into a group is dependent on both age and developmental ability.

"Toddler Tumble" is specially designed to balance parental/adult participation with child autonomy and independence.  It is a time for child and parent (or anyone special in the child’s life) to learn and play together.  At the same time, it is an opportunity for the children to begin trying new activities and meeting new people while still feeling secure with their loved ones nearby.  All the while we will be exploring the various concepts of music, movement, tumbling, and more!

"Toddler Gymnasts" is the next step in our tumbling/gymnastics series.  Children who are ready to separate and transition to instruction in a group setting without their parents/guardians may enroll in our unique drop-off class.

Both our "Toddler Tumble" and "Toddler Gymnasts" Classes follow a similar structure:
~ We begin each class with the same format so that the children can continue to anticipate what is coming next. This facilitates development of self-esteem through consistency and trust. Repetition at this age is still extremely important for a child’s development, and is consistent with a nursery school setting.
~ Verbal attendance is taken at the beginning of every class which aides in name recognition and development of the classroom community.
~ We use instruments to teach the concepts of rhythmic motion, body parts, and “directionals” (up, down, side, behind, etc).  At the same time we practice sequencing, patterns, fine/gross motor development and hand-eye coordination.
~ Music is used in every facet of our program to enhance the learning process and give children ownership of the learning process.  Children become even more engaged in the learning activities through music!
~ We utilize a “circuit” structure to promote clockwise movement, "directionals" and reading readiness skills.
~ A parachute is used for group cooperation, color awareness, hand/eye coordination, and reinforcement of “directionals”.
~ Tumbling teaches spatial awareness through forward, backward, and lateral and bilateral movements.  It promotes self-awareness, spatial concepts and mastery of the body’s movement.
~ Concepts such as “over”, “under”, and “through” as well as movements such as “tip toe”, “galloping” and “jumping” are reinforced throughout the program to develop a solid foundation that can be used as a building block for the future.
~ There is also a social play component to each of our classes which enables the children to explore and learn in our  Preschool Classroom.  This allows the children and teachers to form closer relationships in a free-play environment.  We often include an art/sensory play activity in the classroom as well as a group story time!

Enrichment Classes (3+ Years)

Our unique drop-off Enrichment Classes are specifically tailored to children ages 3 – 12 years!  These classes generally run for approximately 45 to 60 minutes in a 10 week session.

*Please Note- age groups are flexible!  Placement into a group is dependent on both age and developmental ability.

Active, involved children maintain a well rounded and healthier lifestyle.

Our Enrichment Classes are specially designed to introduce the children in our community to a variety of extracurricular activities and hopefully foster an interest (or even passion) for them!  We maintain a non-competitive, stress-free environment where children feel comfortable trying new things and build confidence in their individual abilities.  Our programs aim to keep children fit and active- Body, Mind, and Self!  Our classes build self-esteem, foster a sense of community, and add to each individual child’s repertoire of skills at a pace most appropriate for them.

In our programs, children can choose to receive progressive instruction and have fun learning the foundations of any combination of activities such as:

Gymnastics

Tumbling

Music and Movement

Cooking

Art

STEAM Skills

Yoga & Meditation/Mindfulness

Sports Skills and Team Building

OR- our "Trial Class" which  exposes the children to many of the activities listed above by offering a different enrichment activity each week.  This way, the children are able to choose the topics they are most interested in for the following session.

*Class offerings are subject to interest/enrollment per session.  We cannot guarantee that specific classes are running in the session of interest.
